Though I've been pretty busy lately at the business end of art I haven't posted much because of a new blog project. I'm doing it primarily for my own satisfaction, an outlet for connecting my photography with the music I love, and, as a result, have only made reference to it on my sidebar and briefly on Facebook. Knowing how an audience can kill the creative impulse I'm trying to be completely unselfconscious about it, so there's nowhere for comments, but looky-loos are welcome! Creating this Tumblr blog is like a little creative problem for me to solve every couple of days.
I first discovered Tumblr via Paula and, not surprisingly, had to take it for a test drive. Blogging and social networking platforms are like crack to me. At the end of the day, however, I have only stuck with blogging and Facebook. I love the way Tumblr is designed to focus on the sharing of ideas and resources through easy access/communication, but I am taking it in the opposite direction. Apparently, as a toddler, I loved to sit in large boxes and look out. I guess I'm still doing it.
